SUMMARY

Oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of medium to high risk projects. Working with multiple internal divisions and potentially global organizations and external clients. Support the Business Process Management (BPM) program by facilitating teams in the application of the OPEX methodologies to reengineer core processes, engineer new processes, and identify process improvements.

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time
• Manage projects from initiation through closing.
• Effectively apply project methodology and enforce project standards by utilizing the AGA Project Management toolkit.
• Effectively scope projects by utilizing the AGA Scoping toolkit.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Manage cross-divisional relationships across reporting lines.
• Lead project team meetings effectively. Communicate action plans and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain all project documentation and ensure proper storage in line with internal control requirements.
• Establish project pace to best meet project deliverables.
• Coordinate all project tasks and interdependencies.
• Document, obtain approval, and track all changes.
• Manage and document all risks, issues and decisions related to projects. Communicate, mitigate and escalate to the project owner and/or sponsor.
• Track actual expenses with the project budget.
• Define, track, and report results of project milestones and success metrics through weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting.
• Create and present PowerPoint presentations for project kick-offs and other ad hoc needs, such as steering committee meetings and project updates.
• Partner with the BSA team on system requirements and throughout the lifecycle of a project involving IT scope.
• Manage and coordinate project tasks, risks and issues with consultants, vendors and/or clients.
• Facilitate and document lessons learned and suggest improvements throughout the organization.
• Identify customer-focused process improvement opportunities; map workflow and processes for projects.
• Lead and facilitate SME teams through the phases of the OPEX methodology.
• Gain consensus and approval from applicable divisions on process performance
• Establish and manage metrics to measure efficiency gains; perform quarterly savings validation.
• Serve as a mentor to fellow Project Managers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven (7) to ten (10) years demonstrated success in managing projects that cross multiple lines of business and leading technology related projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred.
• Knowledge of PMI Project Management Tool Kit, Visio and Microsoft Project and the standard Microsoft Office Suite.
• OPEX Lite or Blue/Black Belt or Six Sigma certification preferred
• Process Engineering experience including, cost benefit analysis, process mapping and design.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Position is routinely expected to travel less than 5% of time.
