Pioneer is currently seeking a Business Development Director for our Denver market to drive business results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business opportunities. In this role, you'll be a part of a fast-paced management consulting firm that helps clients solve complex business issues. You'll bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative work style and a growth mindset with a demonstrated track record of growing sales and building successful relationships. You'll serve as a trusted partner to both our internal teams and our clients, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with practice leaders to strategically pursue new opportunities on a diverse collection of targeted accounts through strong, strategic relationships and smart, measured prospecting.
• Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Responsible for achieving $2-4 million+ in annual revenue targets, quarterly sales targets, and MBOs.
• Responsible for a client or set of clients' pipeline creation and forecasting.
• Ask the right questions during prospecting interactions to understand how Pioneer can best serve; start the problem-solving process; drive the right next steps with the right people at the table.
• Present and articulate Pioneer's consulting solutions in a compelling manner.
• Mentor and collaborate with other sellers within and across Pioneer's markets.
• Inform the business development growth strategy in team selling, weekly business development meetings, and insight about tools and resources needed to effectively manage the sales lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.
• Develop creative new business development initiatives to increase awareness of Pioneer to current and prospective clients.
• Actively participate in the community, professional networking organizations and business sponsored events to build the Pioneer brand and meet prospective clients; host or facilitate Pioneer client/marketing events.
• Leverage Pioneer's CRM to drive a forecast and collaborate with account owners and practice leaders.
Requirements
• 8+ years of B2B solution-based selling experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
• Track record of selling professional services and consistently surpassing sales targets and quotas in previous roles, showcasing a strong ability to drive revenue growth and exceed performance expectations.
• Possesses an established professional network in the local Denver market.
• Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
• Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and develop trusting relationships with C-suite business leaders, decision makers, and internal teams.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team including, but not limited to educating, collaborating, pushing back on, and engaging in healthy debate - all for the betterment of our clients and team.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of proficiency with CRM software.
• Able to handle ambiguity and manage many responsibilities at one time to effectively partner with the Pioneer team to drive revenue growth.
• Must be currently living in the Denver market and able to commute to clients across the Denver Metro Area.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Benefits
The estimated salary range for this role is $140,000-160,000 annual base salary plus a robust commission plan. This is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset and years and depth of experience. This may differ from location to location. Bonuses and other incentives are awarded at the Company's discretion and are based upon individual contributions.
