The Platform Solutions Director is a leadership role responsible for driving large-scale change transformational initiatives across the Health and Civil Sector. This includes spearheading platform reengineering, cloud migration, digital transformation, and other key strategic technology projects. This person will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that transformation efforts align with the company's long-term vision and business objectives. This role requires an individual who is a creative thinker with broad technical experience and a business mentality: energetic, persuasive, collaborative, forward-thinking, always looking to maximize impact. They possess a clear vision of how the new technology hub will take requirements from clients and capture teams, then deliver tangible and impactful proof of concepts that can eventually be scaled-up into company assets. This individual is comfortable in a highly visible role, experienced in collaborating across multiple sectors and among technology peers such as Cloud, Data & AI, Cyber, and Platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a sector-wide transformation strategy, focusing on digital transformation, cloud migration, and platform reengineering.
  • Align transformation initiatives with corporate goals and sector-specific objectives.
  • Provide technology advisory and guidance to sector leadership, ensuring technology initiatives drive business growth.
Program Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic transformation programs.
  • Ensure timely, within-budget delivery of programs while maintaining quality and effectiveness.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of transformation efforts and course-correct when necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure integrated approaches to transformation.
  • Foster collaboration between departments, breaking down silos and ensuring holistic problem-solving approaches.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for sector-wide transformation communications and status reporting.
Technology & Innovation:
  • Drive platform reengineering, cloud migration, and the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance infrastructure and customer experiences.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies and best practices that enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and continuously lead the company through improvement initiatives.
Organizational Change Management:
  • Design and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during transformation.
  • Engage and build buy-in from stakeholders at all levels to support transformation initiatives.
  • Identify skills gap and address resistance to change by promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptability.
Team Leadership:
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams responsible for driving transformation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, guiding engineering teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Customer & Market Engagement:
  • Engage with existing and potential customers to showcase the company's problem-solving capabilities using technically-sound solutions.
  • Support business growth by leveraging technology solutions to meet evolving customer needs and support on-contract growth opportunities.
New Business Growth:
  • Partner with Business Area CTOs and other senior leaders to ensure alignment between technology strategies and the overall business development plan.
  • Actively participate in ongoing strategic growth campaigns and support business development.

Education & Experience:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree or advanced education is preferred.
Experience:
  • 15+ years of leadership experience, with a strong focus on digital transformation, technology strategy, and large-scale project management.
  • Proven experience in leading complex transformation initiatives, including platform reengineering and cloud migration.
  • Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve business goals.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation within established organizations and implementing new technologies.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends, digital transformation, and cloud computing.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams across functions.
  • Expertise in change management and organizational development.
  • Ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, increasing market penetration and growth opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in product development/management and cloud operations at a large enterprise with a diverse portfolio.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering technology partnerships and CxO level relationships that lead to increased opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and other delivery organizations to achieve mutual business success.

Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
