Leidos is hiring Software Engineers in Columbia, MD. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered.

Job Summary

Our Software Engineers develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon requirements.

They also work individually and as part of a team.

Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis from system level to individual software components.

The ideal candidate for this position will use their experience with object-oriented programing languages, GNU, Software Defined Radio (SDR) and/or ELK/Elasticsearch.

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • BS and 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer OR 18+ years of SWE experience without a degree

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with FORNSAT
  • Experience with object-oriented programing languages, GNU, Software Defined Radio (SDR) and/or ELK/Elasticsearch.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
