Our growing and dynamic agency is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Digital team, where they will support the development & implementation of social strategies across client accounts. They will play a key role in applying BMF's standards of social strategic excellence to every project, delivering innovative insights, strategic recommendations, and creative implementation approaches to our clients across all channels.

As the Social Media Manager at BMF, you will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing our clients' social strategies across a variety of platforms. This role focuses on driving innovation and effectiveness in social marketing efforts for our diverse client portfolio. We seek an experienced social media expert with exceptional collaborative, creative, and analytical skills with a passion for leveraging data and creative acumen to execute impactful social always-on & campaign strategies that fuel engaging conversations online.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management
  • Craft and implement strategic organic & paid social media plans, and execute against them from content ideation, community management, content posting, and paid social implementation, under the guidance of the VP, Digital Strategy & Analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital, Creative Strategy, PR, and Production, to develop social media strategies that align with client goals.
  • Advising and partnering with creatives to develop innovative social media content.
  • Analyze market trends, audience insights, and performance data to refine social strategies, optimize campaigns, and enhance platform effectiveness.
  • Support the VP, Digital Strategy & Analytics and Digital Strategy Director in the development of social media playbooks that define brand tone, editorial direction, and community engagement tactics.
  • Create and execute audience-first social media campaigns, partnering with Digital Creative & Influencer teams.
  • Provide strategic oversight for assigned client projects, offering expert guidance and hands-on support as needed.

Client Engagement
  • Serve as the social strategy contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support and strategic guidance.
  • Conduct regular client presentations to communicate strategy development, campaign performance, and optimization opportunities.

Performance Measurement
  • Develop and implement metrics to evaluate campaign performance, leveraging analytics tools to derive actionable insights.
  • Build comprehensive social reports based on social performance metrics, inclusive of qualitative and quantitative insights with an eye towards further success and client growth across platforms.
  • Present performance reports to clients, outlining key learnings and recommending next steps for continued success.


The salary range for this role is $95,000-115,000 and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.

Requirements

You must have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agency environment as a social media manager or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of end-to-end social media campaign development, including creative ideation, execution, and performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of overseeing & implementing social media strategies that drive significant engagement and social conversations.
  • Extensive background and experience in community management, content posting, and implementing paid media boosting on the backend of social platforms.
  • Experience partnering with creative teams to advise on the strategic approach to social content development.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of articulating strategic concepts and recommendations effectively to clients and internal teams.
  • A history of delivering innovative, quality-driven work while adhering to brand standards and client expectations.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves, solution-oriented, get-it-done attitude
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools (Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, Meltwater, etc.) and platforms (Meta, X, TikTok, Reddit, etc.), along with Mac proficiency, including expertise in Keynote, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook.
