WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a part of the Braze People team, the People Solutions Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall employee experience and success of the People team by driving change across the department to meet business goals. This role will oversee our AMER region and provide valuable support across various People team functions that impact our employees globally. We're looking for someone excited about having a hand in redefining how the People team operates and how we support our employees.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, People Solutions, and sit within the People Operations function, but will work closely with different divisions across the People team. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and build general knowledge and experience in People Operations.
  • Administer various aspects of the employee lifecycle (such as probation periods, employee offboarding, and leave of absence requests), focusing on employee experience and compliance in partnership with other People functions and cross-functional teams.
  • Support the implementation of company-wide initiatives, such as the engagement survey and performance reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders in planning, execution, and communication.
  • Assist the development of internal processes and programs and revamp current employee programs owned by People Solutions to ensure continued effectiveness.
  • Oversee and manage complex global mobility and immigration cases. Act as a consultant for the business and internal People teams, handling intricate cases and ensuring every employee's relocation or visa experience is smooth and legally compliant.
  • Ensure the company is compliant by managing annual required training such as Preventing Discrimination and Harassment and Compliance training.
  • Assist L&D with employee-facing training, such as co-facilitating and serving as a showrunner in large instructor-led sessions when needed.
  • Support the company's expansion plans by managing the relationship and process with our Employer of Record.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve our operations and service delivery within the Shared Services model to deliver efficient and exceptional support to employees and the business.
  • Collaborate with specialized functional People teams, People Business Partners, and other stakeholders to drive People team initiatives and ad hoc projects to support the team toward business goals.
  • Support employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and managers on complex and/or sensitive matters through the ticketing system and/or meetings. These include, but are not limited to, benefit questions, career development, leave of absence, policies, and relocation requests.

WHO YOU ARE

You're a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized person who is excited to join a fast-paced and scaling company! Specifically, you have:
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in an HR role
  • Extremely strong and consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong service orientation to internal and/or external customers
  • Experience guiding strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making aligned with company and team goals.
  • Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
  • Proficiency in project management and strong analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all different types of personalities
  • Flexibility and creativity to improve current processes as the business scales
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to manage own workload and priorities
  • Eager to learn and grow with our People Solutions team
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS, such as Workday (a plus)

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $67,500 and $85,500/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $75,000 and $95,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
