We are looking forsoftware engineers to join our team in the development of computer aided designtools for the design of integrated circuits (ICs) for the Electronic DesignAutomation (EDA) industry. You will be part of a group of software engineers contributingto new components and algorithms as well as supporting existing components.Self-motivation, the desire to take technical ownership, a results-drivenpositive attitude and team-orientation will contribute to your success in thisrole.
Responsibilities
You will be responsiblefor implementing, debugging, and supporting innovative and diverse features forIC design. The software frequently involves rapid user interaction, so carefulconsideration of the user experience is an important part of the job. At thesame time, IC design involves massive data sets, so performance considerationsare critical when implementing new features. Challenges will includehigh-performance data-structures, multi-threading, distributed computing,multi-platform support, and object-oriented design of C++ software.
You will collaboratewith quality assurance, marketing, technical publications, and customer supportto deliver high-quality products on schedule. You will participate inscheduling and estimation of tasks, and assist in defining and developingsoftware development best practices.

The salary range forthis position is $82,900 to $149,200 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training. Job Qualifications

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with object-oriented C++ software development
- Strong analysis, design and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of high-performance data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Principles of developing high quality, testable, and maintainable software
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Experience with IC design principles is not required but is a plus.
- Multi-threaded and distributed computing
- Techniques for processing high-volume data
