The Opportunity:
WSP is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team, based out of our Langley office, with hybrid flexible office locations available.
WSP's LDME team is a close-knit, collaborative team which prides itself on its long-standing relationships of trust with many of the developers, Municipalities, Townships and Cities.
Partnering with other internal disciplines across WSP, the team is responsible for delivering long-term, complex projects in Land Development and municipal engineering, covering the entire project life-cycle from conceptual planning & design, through to construction management and client hand-over.
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will cover multiple projects across the Lower Mainland. You will form partnerships both internally and externally and will be integral to developing and executing project delivery strategy. You will manage financial and technical aspects of all projects through the full project lifecycle from early project phase, proposals and business development activities, to overseeing engineering, design & approvals to office assistance for contract administration and construction.

Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $93,700 - $128,900
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. What you can expect to do here:
- Feasibility Studies, Preliminary and Detailed Design of civil roadworks, water supply systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems and stormwater management;
- Manage each project to ensure client expectations and business unit standards are met;
- Obtain land development approvals acting as a liaison between client and approving authorities;
- Preparation of proposals;
- Business development activities;
- Financial management of projects;
- Staff mentoring and development; and
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university;
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in the engineering and design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects including water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure and land development projects;
- Professional Engineer with EGBC is required;
- Experience with design, project management and construction experience;
- Strong client management skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong financial and project management skills;
