Foreign Disclosure Officer/Security Manager

SMX is seeking a Foreign Disclosure Officer to support SOCPAC. In this position you will execute, implement, and manage the Commands overall Foreign Disclosure Program.
This position requires an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the National Foreign Disclosure Program IAW National and DoD Foreign Disclosure Directives and Policies. Duties will include independently involving the formulation of foreign disclosure policies and procedures, and coordination of complex and multiple staffing actions, coordinating with high-level officials at O6 and higher by executing and updating assigned disclosure actions in response to request. The Security Manager responsible for all matters of security clearance submission, tracking and processing of requisite and required security related information.
This position requires a DoD TS/SCI clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and administration of the full range of foreign disclosure and security manager duties encompassing foreign visits, foreign disclosure request and determination, training, and briefings, and TSOC and Theater policy and procedures updates
- Develop, conduct, and document Foreign Disclosure and Security Manager orientation briefings
- Ensure documentation is processed IAW COCOM, TSOC and DoD Guidance and Regulations
- Review/edit various Classified Military Information (CMI) products for Government approved release and process Requests for Information (RFIs) from foreign governments and international organizations
- Coordinate with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and COCOM in obtaining security clearance information and verify foreign national status prior to Government approved release of classified material and ensure all classified material is passed appropriately
- Work with Special Security Office, Foreign Disclosure Office, Facility Security Office, and Subject Matter Experts to make recommendations regarding proper marking, disclosure determination, and level of classified information
- Participates with COCOM and SOCOM Foreign Disclosure office with all oversight requirements; assists in managing a wide range of complex and diverse issues concerning various aspects and categories of information releasable to foreign governments and international organizations
- Oversees, prepares, and participates in foreign and domestic disclosure and security manager training and policy developments
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any field of study
- Completed DIA Foreign Disclosure in-residence
- Five (5) years of combined experience in intelligence, security, and foreign disclosure of with at least one (1) year of foreign disclosure experience within the last three (3) years
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
- Ability to understand and implement all DOD and USINDOPACOM Security Manager and Foreign Disclosure regulations and policies
- Must be willing and able to work with the USINDOPACOM Staff and leadership on a range of disclosure and security related issues
