Medcare Staffing is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for the VA facility in Ohio. Since this is government opportunity, ANY state license is accepted.This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. Mid-levels?A4 Nine full-time MD/DOs each working 40 hours/ week; two part-time MD/DOs each working 20 hours/ week; four Mid-levels; and two NPs and two PAs each working 40 hours/week.Q5 Are shifts 8, 10 or 12 hours? How many physicians per shift?A5 Shifts are 10, 12, 12.5, 13, 14 hours depending on need.Q8 Can we get a count of how many ED Beds there are at the hospital?A8 18 ED and 4 Fast-trackQ15 How far in advance is the schedule requested? 60 days? 90 days?A daysQ16 Is there APP support? Currently CT is a call-in (1 hr.).Q19 Who Admits? (ER or Hospitalist, MOD)A19 Hospitalist; sometimes we need to write orders for Psych Admissions. VA in Cincinnati, OH QualificationsCVCopy of ANY medical license DEABLS, ACLS, ATLS2 referencesThe Contractor shall provide physicians - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (strongly preferred), Internal Medicine, or Family Practice. Physicians not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine must have at least five (5) years of Emergency Department experience.
