Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will be able to build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Responsibilities include:
  • Use DevSecOps to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling rapid and stable delivery of capabilities using continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, methodologies, and technologies
  • Identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy emerging software engineering methodologies and tools
  • Automate and enhance DevSecOps pipelines and other tasks
  • Define and promote enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps standards, practices, and behaviors
  • Operate and support a suite of enterprise DevSecOps services
  • Support project teams as they integrate into the DevOps environment

Here's what you need:
  • 3+ years experience with all phases of software development lifecycle
  • 1+ years experience with agile project management (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • 1+ years experience with source code management (e.g. Git)
  • 1+ years experience with build automation (e.g. Jenkins)
  • 1+ years experience with code linting and code quality (e.g. SonarQube)
  • 1+ years experience with test automation (e.g. Selenium).
  • 2 years of experience in Linux systems administration OR 2 years of custom application development (e.g. Java, .NET)

Security Clearance:
  • An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
