Functional Analyst

Amentum is now hiring for a Functional Analyst (All levels) - CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $190,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Assesses the business environment and company strategy to develop functional requirements for projects.
- Ensures the integrity of production systems through maintenance.
- Initiates new SAP features. Builds IT solutions for work management and supply chain issues.
- Applies test scripts to determine functionality decisions.
- Creates training documentation for employees and customers.
- Performs product demonstrations and goes over benefits.
- Evaluates and implements alternative solutions as necessary.
- Supports and troubleshoots issues that customers have.
- Escalates project risks as necessary.
- Has experience with the analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events.
- Responsible for working with users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes (business process reengineering).
- Responsible for providing market research on conditions that impact the overall operational efficiency of an organization and identifying symptoms for process improvement.
- Has knowledge of process and risks.
- Has experience working with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems.
- Has experience in having primary responsibility for individual projects and systems.
- Has experience in testing functionality and matching to requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
- 1-10+ years' experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
