Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services' National Security Portfolio (NSP) is seeking a highly motivated, Information Systems Security Administrator to support the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system to provide maritime domain awareness in Northern Africa. The system will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating security information to enhance the security and force protection of maritime boundaries, natural resources, and strategic ports. The ideal candidate will work as part of an integrated team based in greater Boston, Massachusetts area, and be ready for hands-on support of the cybersecurity mission. This role is in support of a large, force protection system involving Microsoft, Linux, and Virtualized (VMware) services. Working as part of a team, candidates will implement and administer security-relevant features of the enterprise system.

California: $105,200 - $196,500
Colorado: $105,200 - $169,700
New York: $97,300 - $196,500

The Work:
- Provides technical support for the operating systems and their successful integration with the hardware and applications software across the enterprise
- Configures administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system software
- Supports hardware, software, and services procurement initiatives as directed
- Maintain workstations and servers by deploy monthly patches and virus definition updates along with any major changes needing to be made to ensure security standards are being maintained
- Assist in policy development and other aspects of information assurance as directed
- Support installation, upgrades, and maintenance for operating systems and applications; providing supporting data and documentation for systems and applications accreditation processes and change requests
- Administer Active Directory services, member servers and storage; integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of enterprise systems
- Isolate and resolve complex hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, systems infrastructure, etc.
- Manage and execute projects approved and documented in Jira
- Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks; systems management including account monitoring, security, operating system installation, and other local area system administration related functions
- Utilize a variety of means, and command line tools (PowerShell) to troubleshoot and remediate basic to complex systems hardware, software, and configuration issues on assigned systems, networks, Active Directory
- Support disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, and operations
- Provide input to in-progress IT projects and maintain effective communications with leadership
- Participate in special projects and day-to-day operations
- Implement applicable security controls for various operating systems and applications, applicable security standards and frameworks
- Support the development and maintenance of system documentation
- Develop reports and similar analytical products to support vulnerability assessments and facilitate external Audits
- Assist in a secure change management process and related CCBs
Here's what you need:
- 7+ years cyber security experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- Familiarity with administering Windows, Linux, VMWare, and Cisco network devices, in an enterprise or tactical environment
- Demonstrated experience and competency with the Microsoft Office Suite. E.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Understanding of classified networks, systems, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
Bonus points if you have:
- Relevant IT Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent updated role-based certification
- Experience implementing a robust Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) system
- Experience with the NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSFC) program
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI 1253, FIPS 199 and NIST SP 800-53
- Vendor management experience
- Experience in Risk Management-Experience doing Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) tracking
