CrossCountry Consulting's Accounting Advisory practice is quickly growing, and we are seeking talented professionals to join our NYC location. It's an exciting opportunity to make an impact not only with our clients but within our firm. We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant to develop and grow with the Accounting Advisory practice in the NYC market, working with multi-national public companies and fast growing pre-IPO companies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide various accounting advisory services including (but not limited to):
Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting (including the design of reporting processes, restatement assistance, and various SEC filings)
- Operational Accounting (addressing the need for continuous improvement and optimization of the finance and accounting functions)
- Complex Accounting Standard Implementation (such as ASC 606 and ASC 842 for both public and private companies)
- Acquisitions, divestures, IPOs, and SPACs

Desired Experience and Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, information systems, or a similar business or technical discipline
- 5+ years of external consulting experience (Big Four or equivalent) within a Financial Reporting/Accounting capacity
- CPA or CA certified
- Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Accounting standards (US GAAP and/or IFRS) and the ability to research technical accounting and transaction related issues
- Transaction based accounting and reporting requirements, including IPOs (S-1), mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs, etc
- Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
- SEC filings and their requirements
- Managing and developing junior team members
- High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Great sense of humor!

For applicants located in New York, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $125,125 - $192,500 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
