Cyber Security Project Engineer
Swift, Reston, VA
The Swift Group is looking for a Cyber Security Project Engineer to support specializing in assessment and authorization (A&A) to ensure that the Sponsor's requirements follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Work will include providing timely modification, development, deployment and administration of security accreditation tasks across client's IT platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide services that will handle all security plan modifications, should any changes be required architecturally to the client's data environment post-delivery throughout the duration of the contract
- Perform or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Validate, analyze and verify system security requirements definitions, and establish system security designs
- Design, develop, implement and integrate where applicable, Internal Audit and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection requirements
- Build Internal Audit into systems deployed to operational environments
- Assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Sponsor security policy and enterprise solutions
- Support the building of security architectures
- Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures
- Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
- Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
- Review (A&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Information Systems Security Engineering
- Experience performing all lifecycle A&A activities
- Experience translating mission/user requirements to technical requirements and conveying how a technical solution will deliver mission results
- Experience prioritizing work based on mission need
- Experience working with application developers to identify and implement infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Technical and functional understanding of modern web and mobile application architectures and related components including but not limited to DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP to aid in understanding of how information systems interoperate
- HS diploma
- US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

- Experience working with the client's A&A process and tools
- Experience working with client's Operations
- Experience using the client's specialized platforms
- Experience with Linux shell scripting
- Experience with multiple cloud providers
- Experience with one or more scripting languages
