Gastroenterology Hospitalist Physician needed in Dover, Delaware - Specialty: GI Hospitalist - EMR: EPIC - The dates GI locums at location 1 are: o 1/21 (unsure if 7A or 5P) - 1/27 (7AM) o 2/5-2/14 (7AM) o 5/22-5/29 (7AM) o 6/30-7/4 (7AM) The dates needed at location 2 are: o 1/1/2025 7am - 1/14/2025 7am o 1/20/2025 7am - 1/21/2025 7am o 1/27/2025 7am - 2/4/2025 7am o 2/17/2028 7am - 3/11/2025 7am o 3/17/2025 7am - 3/18/2025 7am o 3/24/2025 7am - 4/8/2025 7am o 4/14/2025 7am - 4/15/2025 7am o 4/21/2025 7am - 5/12/2025 7am o 5/13/2025 7am - 5/22/2025 7am o 5/28/2025 7am - 6/3/2025 7am o 6/9/20258 7am - 6/24/2025 7am o 6/30/2024 7am - 7/1/2025 7am - Setting: Hospital - Daily Responsibilities: GI locums cover unassigned ED call, inpatient census and consults - Shifts/Schedule Expectations: 24hr inpatient call coverage - Patients per day/Census for GI: o Census is 10-25. Never under 10. o 5-12 consults a day. Average 8 o rounding on current inpatient service - 6 o # hrs new consults (ED and floor) Usually around 6 but can be up to 10 o # times called by ED for unassigned ER patients - 8-10 - Procedures Required/Preferred: o EGD, sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy. o Bleeding control (hemostasis), biopsy - Does site use conscious sedation and/or anesthesiology support? 24/7 anesthesia - Required Life Certifications: BLS preferred Details & requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24-hour call Job Setting: Inpatient Types of Cases: Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy. Bleeding control (hemostasis), biopsy Credentialing Timeframe: 60 + Days Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Active State License
