Your impact
This position can be located anywhere in the USALeveraging our history of leading the water treatment engineering design industry for decades, we are fully funded and committed to leading the PFAS space in the drinking water platform. Your impact: As a Global PFAS Technology Leader you will part of a global team, developing strategy for the new PFAS market in North America and globally in our $2.5B water market. You will be able to make a difference in change, grow the market, and collaborate with our esteemed environmental and water global solutions and technology leaders. Our drinking water solutions: Planning and assessment services, technology evaluation and cost estimating, bench and pilot-scale testing, design, PM/CM, O&M, turn-key design-build, and alternative delivery.Your core internal and external leadership responsibilities will include:• Guiding and implementing our Solution thought leadership activities to shape our differentiated brand, reputation, and value proposition externally.• Facilitating, positioning and engagement in partnership with our client account managers and sales teams to ensure Jacobs is the preeminent, trusted partner of choice for targeted new and existing core clients in the Drinking Water and Reuse Solution space. • Collaborating across the Market Solutions organization to provide differentiated value.More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:• Supporting the design of large ground and surface water treatment plants designed to address current regulatory PFAS standards. • Designing and managing treatability projects that include bench-scale and pilot-scale testing • Developing strategies• Working with clients, government, and regulatorsQualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment per the Fair Chance Ordinance of Los Angeles
Here's what you'll need
Here’s what you’ll need:• Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or related• 15 plus years’ experience with drinking water treatment process design including granular activated carbon, ion exchange, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis for addressing these PFAS compounds in drinking water• Progressive consulting experience• Active in professional organizations such as WEF, AWWA, and/or research organizations• Ability to travel up to 15-30%. Average 1-2 days a week to get to know people at first.Ideally you’ll also have:• 25 plus years’ experience with drinking water treatment process design and be expert knowledge of PFAS chemicals• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related area with focus on addressing emerging contaminants in drinking water

Posted Salary Range: Upper
275,000.00
