We're currently on the lookout for a dynamic Contract Manager to join our Rail Infrastructure team in Pittsburgh, PA. If you love the thrill of negotiation, have a curiosity about handling diverse contracts, and possess a solid track record in this field, we want to hear from you. Ideally, you'll bring at least eight years of experience, and knowledge of government contracts would be a huge plus. Join us in navigating the highly regulated industry of rail infrastructure and making a real impact on how the world moves. As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in providing valuable contract management advice during public procurements, negotiations, and project execution. Your ability to communicate complex contractual topics clearly and drive consensus decisions will be essential to your success in this role.
What we're looking for in you:
• A law degree and extensive Contract Management experience in the realm of public infrastructure and governmental contracts.
• A minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in commercial transactions and litigation.
• Excellent communication skills to engage in negotiations with various partners and prepare intricate contracts.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to devise risk mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency with project/program controls software and web-based program management systems.
• Familiarity with regulated industries.

Analyzing, evaluating, and resolving diverse matters with government agencies, commercial customers, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Identifying and assessing contractual risks, opportunities, and requirements while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with the project management team to define the legal strategy for projects and handling project-related claim opportunities.
Consulting with management and drafting official correspondence transparently and professionally.
Monitoring contract conditions and events, identifying claim possibilities, and defending against external claims.
Participating in claim negotiations, pre-litigation matters, and project management.

This career is based in Pittsburgh, PA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, is $109,100 - $147,200, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
