GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and communications plans that enhance the organization's reputation, visibility, and brand presence with existing and new clients, as well as employees of Stabilis Solutions. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages the marketing and communications budget and campaigns, crafts compelling messages, and ensures all communications are consistent with organizational goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stabilis Solutions retains the right to modify or change the duties or essential functions of the job at any time.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing, branding, and communications strategies and campaigns that align with the company's business goals and objectives. Ensure alignment of internal and external communications with the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and tracking expenditures, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across initiatives.
• Identify and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform strategy.
• Create and manage marketing and communications calendars to ensure timely and effective execution of initiatives, with specific and measurable goals and metrics.
• Lead the development and execution of brand-building initiatives, ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and voice across all platforms focusing on key company objectives. Lead the creation of marketing content, including advertisements, social media posts, email newsletters and website materials.
• Monitor brand health and implement strategies to enhance the company's reputation, market positioning, and awareness.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, and content marketing.
• Measure and report on campaign performance, using data to optimize future campaigns.
• Manage the company's digital presence, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and website optimization.
• Build relationships with key internal stakeholders (executive leadership, department heads) to align priorities and ensure messaging consistency. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Product, HR) to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business priorities.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as investors, partners, and community leaders, to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive media coverage for the company. May serve as the spokesperson for the company when needed, write press releases, pitch stories, and manage media inquiries.
• May mentor and guide other marketing professionals, providing feedback and support for career growth.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, with a history of successful campaigns and brand management
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, social media, SEO, email marketing, and analytics tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.
• Demonstrated experience with brand management and public relations.
• Leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
• Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Stabilis is a fast-paced and growing work environment where employees are encouraged to be self-starters. Currently we employ just over one hundred employees and our corporate office houses thirty-five.
- Office equipment will be used, including copy machines, telephones, keyboards, and computers. Skills and activities require fine motor dexterity, good vision, good hearing, and clear speaking.
