Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $140,000 to 171,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You'll Do
- Help enable public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for our clients and apply DevSecOps principles to cloud infrastructure, with responsibilities including constructing landing zones and deploying respective capabilities.
- Implement and manage vulnerability management strategies, conducting regular scans, remediation processes, and reporting vulnerabilities to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Develop and apply threat modeling to identify potential security weaknesses within cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Work with multiple business areas such as networking, compute, storage, information security, risk, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations.
- Collaborate with application development teams to understand and integrate security requirements into the deployment lifecycle.
- Automate cloud environments and ensure the scalability, security, and stability of deployed infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to build cloud infrastructure programs, develop serverless functions, and continuously integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Bring
- Expertise in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and logging/monitoring best practices.
- Experience with Terraform or cloud-native scripting languages (e.g., ARM, CloudFormation, Cloud Deployment Manager).
- Familiarity with a cloud provider's Command Line Interface (CLI) and knowledge of invoking APIs using languages such as Python.
- In-depth understanding of designing for high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
