Massanutten Animal Clinic is actively seeking a Veterinarian to join our team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We are a wonderful hospital with long-time clients/patients, great local schools, and a friendly community. Most of our staff has been here for over 5 plus years and has lots to offer clinically. Our mission statement is for our team to provide compassionate care with respect and honesty for both clients and patients.
**Open to New Grads -- strong Mentorship Program!!
**$100k to $135k Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)
**No on-call or overnight shifts.
About our hospital:
• 4 doctors, small animal practice (cats & dogs)
• 5 licensed veterinary technicians
• Full-service facility
• Idexx- catalyst one, procyte, sedivue
• Digital radiograph, digital dental radiograph
• Ultrasound equipment
• Dental Scaler/polisher
What we're looking for:
• Compassionate, Energetic and Friendly Personality
• 1-3 years' experience a plus
• Flexible work schedule

Lake Anna & Smith Mountain Lake is within 2 hours, Washington D.C. is approximately 3 hours away, and Virginia Beach is approximately 4 hours away. Agricultural area with various farmers' markets and access to rural settings. The downtown area hosts many local restaurants and shops. Great place to raise a family. Lots of child-friendly activities and a children's museum downtown. Massanutten Resort has winter skiing and a water park. Located near James Madison University and Charlottesville & the University of Virginia is approximately 1 hour away. The cost of living index is 98 according to AreaVibes.
Skills and Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed
