JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
The 1st Shift Assembler is responsible for general assembly projects for the Jet Machine facilities. Responsibilities and job duties include:

The 1st Shift Assembler is responsible for general assembly projects for the Jet Machine facilities. Responsibilities and job duties include:
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Conducts quality control checks.
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
- Organizing received material.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift.
- Preparing inventory for shipment to vendors and customers
- Labeling finished parts
- Able to follow work orders or oral instructions to uphold customer's standards
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from vehicles, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or using power hoist
- Keeps work area and equipment clean
- Dependable, reliable, and prompt
- Good attitude, willing to learn
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably and consistently
- Problem Solving Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Experience with blueprint reading, hand tools, measurements tools, forklifts, overheard cranes
