HONORHEALTH is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced faculty physician to teach residents in the ambulatory/outpatient setting and assist with curriculum development for the HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residency Program in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Internal Medicine Core Faculty Physician will provide medical care for patients in the ambulatory setting with their own continuity clinics and precepting HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residents.  The Internal Medicine Residency was founded in 2016 and has enjoyed tremendous success on many levels.  As a relatively new program, this is a unique opportunity to bring your creative ideas to create the legacy of the HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residency Program which seeks to distinguish the program as an ambulatory practice model.  The faculty physician will be an integral part of the on-going curriculum development.  Dana Sall, MD, Program Director for HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residency, welcomes new ideas and individuality.  Dr. Sall spent several years on faculty at the University of Cincinnati, where she was very instrumental in bringing infrastructure ideas from a large Internal Medicine Residency Program and incorporating into a smaller, personalized residency program.  All faculty physicians have the opportunity to participate in scholarly activities at the state, regional, or national level.

As a role model for residents in the clinical practice of internal medicine and to support the excellent reputation of HonorHealth in the community, it is critical faculty physicians support the mission and values of HonorHealth in all aspects of direct patient care and scholarly activities.   

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Strong Clinical and Teaching Skills
  • Completion of 3-Year Residency in Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for Unrestricted  Arizona State Medical License
  • Board-Certification  in Internal Medicine, ABIM
  • Prefer at least 2  Years  Clinical Experience in a Faculty Position or Ambulatory Outpatient Clinic
