As a result, the prestigious VA Orlando Healthcare System veteran population is increasing, and we are seeking board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterologist for its 5-star healthcare system and its expanding numbers of community-based Outpatient clinics (CBOC) and locations throughout central Florida.
The Gastroenterology Department at the Orlando VA Sunshine Healthcare System is a well-established trained staff seeking a physician with advanced skills in interventional gastroenterology. Completion of four years therapeutic endoscopy in EUS and ERCP is required. ESD and POEM (3rd space endoscopy) training/experience is ideal.
- Provide a variety of gastroenterology consultative services in outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings, including the diagnosis/treatment/management of gastroenterology disorders and conditions as needed, to include on-call coverage.
- Expected procedure volume 500 EUS/Year, 120 ERCP/Year, ESD/POEM 20 procedures/year.
