Job Title: Assembly Technician

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with potential overtime)

Compensation: $15 per hour

Job Overview:

As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for assembling components, performing wiring and cabling, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean work environment. Your attention to detail and dedication to producing top-notch products will contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and assemble components, including cabinets, doors, locks, sheet metal parts, and specialty builds.

- Layout and perform the complete wiring and cabling of all assemblies and systems related to alarm options (commercial chest area).

- Check and test completed units and assemblies for adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments and repairs.

- Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards.

- Provide instruction and training to team members as required.

- Assist in various material handling tasks and work on a variety of products.

- Monitor quality data using Total Quality Checkpoints (TQC) and participate in required training.

- Complete necessary forms and documentation according to your area of responsibility.

- Perform basic data entry tasks such as scanning barcodes and reporting production numbers.

- Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.

- Basic knowledge of wiring, cabling, and component assembly.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
