OBJECTIVE Inside Auto Appraiser Objective To provide an efficient appraisal and settlement of automobile physical damage losses while providing excellent customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Inside Auto Appraiser Responsibilities Complete or review auto repair estimates and appraisals for physical damage losses to motor vehicles. Write or review damage estimates and appraisals in conjunction with current industry repair practices and pricing. Provide quality service to the customer and aid in the retention of business. Maintain general knowledge of all physical damage contracts written by the companies, their various endorsements, exclusions, company procedures, and accepted claim practices. Maintain general knowledge of automobile damage causation, repairs, procedures, and accepted repair practices. Stay informed of the latest changes and updates in automobile repairs and technology. Attend and complete specific training courses designated by the company. QUALIFICATIONS Inside Auto Appraiser Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one to three years of experience required in collision repair industry or insurance claim handling. Experience using auto estimating software such as CCC Pathways, Audatex, Mitchell. Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred. Farm Bureau offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
