A leading health-care facility in New Jersey is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join their team in Neptune City, NJ! About the Opportunity: Shift: Weekdays 7 am - 5 pm Schedule: Monday to Friday, with PRN weekend coverage Setting: Hospitalist role with access to an advanced team of endoscopists for complex procedures Patient Load: 25-35 patients per day Procedures Required: EGD and colonoscopy Support Staff: One APP to assist Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive inpatient care for gastroenterology patients Performing standard GI procedures, including EGD and colonoscopies Collaborating with a team of APPs and advanced endoscopists for complex cases Managing patient consults and follow-ups Participating in on-call rotations as required, with availability for callback Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospital or GI setting Medical Degree (MD/DO) Board Certification in Gastroenterology Current and valid medical license Proficiency in performing EGD & Colonoscopy Strong diagnostic and treatment skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
