Wire Rope Assembler – St. Paul, MN Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday Pay Range: $18.50 Temp-to-hire Summary: This role is with a leading provider of lifting equipment and solutions that pride themselves on delivering top-quality products and exceptional service to their clients. As a Wire Rope Shop Worker you will play a key role in the assembly, maintenance, and inspection of wire ropes used in various lifting applications. Your attention to detail and hands-on skills will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Measure and cut wire rope to specified lengths using tape measures (with 1/8 inch reading experience). Assemble and inspect wire ropes according to industry standards and specifications. Operate hand tools and machinery, including chop saws and 4-inch grinders (experience is a plus). Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Work independently while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies. Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Qualifications: Proven experience using a tape measure with 1/8 inch reading capability. Basic understanding of English and ability to communicate clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Steel toe shoes required. Must pass a drug test (excluding marijuana) and a 7-year background check.
