Division Overview:
Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Cork & Seal’s North American Beverage Packaging Division has openings for Machine Operators at our manufacturing facility located in Worland, WY. This facility manufactures aluminum cans for the beverage industry.

Worland, Wyoming
Position overview:
Reporting directly to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor, the Printer Mechanic is responsible for the set-up, tending, and adjusting of the automatic can decorating equipment.
Qualifications:
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
Competencies
- Must be safety oriented and dedicated to fully complying with all OSHA safety rules and regulations
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns or schedules
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and precision abilities highly desirable
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
- Understanding of machinery and equipment with the ability to do basic troubleshooting
- Must possess basic math skills
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience using analytical approaches to problems
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team environment using collaborative methods
- Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and /or move up to 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic
- The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures
- The noise level is frequently loud
