Clinic Physician (Board Certified)

Clinic Physicians provide medical services for programs including general medical clinics, specialized clinics, and occupational medical services. Clinic Physicians are responsible for providing direct medical services for Health and Social Services Department clients in various programs. Clinic Physicians perform highly responsible and specialized professional functions and tasks independently requiring a high degree of professional level knowledge and expertise and excellent organizational and communication skills. Clinic Physicians are expected to be well versed in clinical practice guidelines for managing acute and chronic medical conditions.The Board Certified Clinic Physician differs from the Clinic Physician job class by maintaining certification by a specialty board recognized by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
