Duties -Applying knowledge of administrative and program management principles and skills in carrying out the mission of the Division. -Developing the most cost effective and fiscally responsible methods to conduct program segment(s) and to solve problems. -Developing and implementing program policies and plans, making critical decisions, and providing expert advice and counsel concerning approaches and options that are sound and feasible in relation to program goals, objectives and Federal budgetary and economic realities. -Coordinating health information technology (HIT) policies and programs internally and with other relevant executive branch agencies. Developing technical policy options and recommendations related to electronic health information exchange, public health informatics, and/or health information technology. 2. Analyzing health information technology requirements and standards, with an emphasis on health information technology or electronic health information exchange implementation. 3. Preparing written materials, such as regulations, memos, reports, presentations, and/or talking points. 4. Providing advice/guidance to stakeholders and/or collaborative workgroups addressing initiatives related to health information technology or electronic health information exchange. 5.
