Global Account Manager – EPC HybridLocation: Houston, Texas or Philadelphia, PA Job Purpose The primary role of the Global Account Manager is to deliver revenue objectives and ensure first class customer relationship. The GAM will manage 1-2 accounts. These are large, complex accounts with growth potential requiring deep customer relationships at all levels within their organisation and understanding of their business. This role requires the ability to discover new opportunities for AVEVA’s solutions and platform across our entire portfolio. Working with the customer to explore and build a business case for investment with AVEVA, supporting the growth of the business.  This role is an individual contributor and part of a Global Account EPC Sales team and is an excellent path for a future positions within AVEVA  Principal Accountabilities:  Post-acquisition role that focuses on developing and growing client intimacy and relationships. Drive true growth, increase wallet share and retain client’s business. Create opportunities for AVEVA’s full portfolio. Become your customer’s trusted advisor to increase their investment in AVEVA and maximise ROI. Define and execute your account Business Plan which outlines your strategic and tactical approaches for achieving your targets. Maintain and develop AVEVA’s opportunity pipeline with the customer by leveraging sales platforms. Plan and organise all related sales activities starting from prospecting through to closing business in line with AVEVA’s way of selling. ‘Drive the bus’ utilising the wider sales/commercial, executive and cross functional teams to meet AVEVA’s goals.  Support management and extended sales team with all market related information. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:  You will possess experience with IT solutions and the business processes associated with the industries served by AVEVA and likely to have worked for an IT solutions provider, EPC, Oil and Gas Owner Operator, or technology consultancy You have deep experience in sales, account management and/or in a business development role where you are selling software solutions You must be passionate about the customer’s business and must be able to investigate and uncover their most important problems to solve, matching AVEVA’s solutions to them where appropriate. You will preferably be a degree qualified engineer  You will be comfortable operating at a range of levels from end user to senior Executives aligning their business problems with our technology solutions You will have sound commercial and analytical skills to help identify market trends and opportunities for your nominated accounts, refining business and account plans to exploit such opportunities  You will have strong communication skills in all forms – written, oral, email, presentation, and – be fluent in English  Whilst the successful candidate will be based in Houston, USA there is an expectation that travel to clients, partners, prospects, AVEVA offices etc. (including overseas on occasion) will be a normal requirement of successfully executing this role.Salary Range:$119,600.00 - $199,400.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.USA Benefits: Competitive salary; high quality healthcare; 401(k) with 6% employer match; FSA and supplemental insurance; paid parental leave; 20 days PTO with increase for time served; 7 days of sick time; 3 days paid volunteering; flexible lifestyle benefits (commuter plans, backup care, emergency leave and fitness/education reimbursement opportunities) AVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.  Background checks will be conducted in accordance with local laws and may, subject to those laws,  include proof of educational attainment, employment history verification, proof of work authorization, criminal records, identity verification, credit check.  Certain positions dealing with sensitive and/or third party personal data may involve additional background check criteria.AVEVA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
