As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.The Investment Strategy Group (ISG) within Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation views and providing advice to the firm’s high net worth clients and certain institutions.  The role of an ISG member requires a broad set of qualities, including a passion for investing, client servicing, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.The Tactical Asset Allocation team (TAA) within ISG seeks to generate tactical alpha for clients’ portfolios by investing across macro asset classes (equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities).  In addition to its investment mandate, the TAA team publishes several widely distributed reports and Outlooks each year, and is responsible for disseminating and communicating macro investment views to the firm’s clients.We are seeking a junior Vice President hire who will focus on monitoring market conditions, conducting in-depth research and generating actionable investment insights across US & Global fixed income asset classes, with a specific focus on US Muni’s, Global IG & HY Credit, Bank Loans and CDS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in macroeconomic analysis, quantitative research, and experience in a sell-side or buyside fixed income asset allocation or portfolio strategy role.  Key responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive research on US & Global fixed income markets by analyzing price trends, fundamental market drivers, supply-demand dynamics, geopolitical factors, and macroeconomic indicatorsProduce detailed research highlighting key findings and recommendations for internal and external stakeholdersStay up-to-date on relevant market news, regulatory changes, and innovations in US & Global fixed income to inform our tactical viewsUtilize data analytics, quantitative models, and financial software tools to assess market conditions and generate predictive investment insights in fixed income Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, STEM or a related field.
