In this role, you will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and executing both external sponsored events and internal company-owned events. You will ensure seamless event execution, from preparation to follow-up, delivering outstanding results.Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members from our marketing, sales, and product teams to align events strategies with business goals. You will manage budgets and timelines effectively and ensure all events contribute to our integrated go-to-market plan. Your primary objective will be to generate demand and leads that drive high-quality, marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue growth. Additionally, you will enhance Conviva’s brand awareness as the first and best place to understand and optimize digital customer experiences.What Success Will Look Like: Strategic planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive, global event marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall marketing and business goals.Event selection and prioritization: Identify and prioritize key industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and company-hosted events that offer the best opportunities for lead generation and brand visibility.Budget management: Managing the global marketing events budget, invoices, timeliness, and results to maximum ROI.Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with global and regional sales and product management teammates to ensure cohesive messaging and clear articulation of the company’s and our platform’s business value.Vendor and partner management: Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and sponsors to ensure seamless event execution and to negotiate favorable terms.Event execution: Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning and execution, including booth design and placement, staffing, and on-site management.Content creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging event materials, presentations, and promotional content that resonate with the target audienceBrand representation: Ensure that all events consistently reflect the company’s brand values and messaging, enhancing brand awareness and reputation.Lead generation and follow-up: Capture and nurture all leads generated from events and ensure the sales team effectively engages them.Ownership mentality: Take full ownership of planning, developing, coordinating, executive-leveling, and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing in all global regions.Who You Are & What You've Done: 7+ years of experience in B2B event marketing (enterprise experience preferred) in a global marketing teamExperience working with hypergrowth companies journeying through the start-up to IPO phase.Proven success in establishing and executing marketing events and communications programs and delivering measurable outcomes.Excellent writing and editing skills.Innovative thinker interested in staying current on the latest trends and emerging best practices in the field.Proactive in making decisions and planning vs. reactive.Ability to prioritize resources, run multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a timely manner.Extremely detail-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills.Must be willing and able to travel to interesting locations around the world.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.This is a hybrid role based out of our Foster City, California office.The expected salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $195,000 + equity + benefits.
