About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SVP & Head of Business Development to be a key player in our company's growth journey. You will develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy, with a primary focus on sourcing, pitching, nurturing, and closing strategic partnerships, particularly with health systems. Owning the entire business development process is central to this role; you will identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, manage the deal funnel, and work closely with the CEO to create and execute strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Market expansion and relationship building with key stakeholders
- Staying updated on industry trends to harness new opportunities
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics
- Exhibiting exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
- Driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with preference for those possessing an MBA or advanced degree. You should have at least 10 years of proven experience in business development, particularly in closing strategic partnerships with health systems. A background in home health or hospice is advantageous. Essential skills include strong analytical, financial, communication, and presentation abilities.
