Leidos' Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) operation is on the lookout for an Inventory Control Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage inventory transactions and facilitate material transfers.
- Perform manual and clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Prepare work orders to support our production department.
- Ensure proper placement of inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Transfer materials between warehouses using company vehicles.
- Work independently, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on missing or lost inventory items.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with supervisors and teammates.
- Support inventory control through accurate record-keeping.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Operate and conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized to promote safety.
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a receiving clerk or similar warehouse role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Familiarity with computer programs for data entry, including ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be capable of lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull weights up to 200 lbs.
- Job requires frequent physical activity, including bending, stooping, and working in various positions.
- Must adhere to safety protocols in potentially hazardous environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $33,150.00 - $59,925.00
