Leidos' Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) operation is on the lookout for an Inventory Control Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team. Our advanced systems are designed to enhance threat detection by screening baggage, cargo, and individuals at checkpoints globally.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage inventory transactions and facilitate material transfers.
• Perform manual and clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Prepare work orders to support our production department.
• Ensure proper placement of inventory in designated locations.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Transfer materials between warehouses using company vehicles.
• Work independently, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and report on missing or lost inventory items.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with supervisors and teammates.
• Support inventory control through accurate record-keeping.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Operate and conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized to promote safety.

Basic Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a receiving clerk or similar warehouse role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Familiarity with computer programs for data entry, including ERP and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must be capable of lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull weights up to 200 lbs.
• Job requires frequent physical activity, including bending, stooping, and working in various positions.
• Must adhere to safety protocols in potentially hazardous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $33,150.00 - $59,925.00
