Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in Georgia

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (No Call Responsibilities)

Key Details/Responsibilities:
Provide wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Manage a variety of wound types, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, and vascular insufficiencies.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as wound assessments, debridement, and dressing changes.
Focus on health promotion while managing acute and chronic disease conditions.
Collaborate with a team of two physicians to support comprehensive patient care.
Collect and document patient data, order labs, and coordinate consultations as needed.

Qualifications:
NP Candidates: Must be licensed as a Nurse in Georgia with approval to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and hold national certification.
PA Candidates: Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Georgia with national certification.
At least 3 years of experience as a PA or NP in a wound care setting
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with skilled physicians in a team-based setting.
Quality Care: Serve patients in a reputable healthcare facility focused on high standards of care.
Technology: Access to EPIC for seamless electronic health record (EHR) management.
