A state hospital is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. Southern New Hampshire offers a plethora of enjoyable activities, from exploring the picturesque trails and natural beauty of Pawtuckaway State Park to indulging in a day of adventure at Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park filled with thrilling rides and entertainment. The start date is projected for December, and there is an effort to expedite credentialing due to a current staffing crisis. This position is onsite only, with no telehealth options available. The facility uses paper charts and does not currently have an EMR, although there are plans to transition to an EMR within the next 6 to 12 months. The specialty focus is on child and adolescent care for patients aged 3 to 25 years. Full or part-time availability is needed, with a requirement to be present five days a week for rounds. Hours are flexible, allowing a start time between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with 9-hour workdays including an hour for lunch.
