Orthopedic Spine Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About this role:

As an Orthopedic Spine Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This position will support a busy fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon based at LDS Hospital.

In this role you can anticipate:

  • Practicing at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah; occasionally seeing patients at Intermountain Medical Center, Riverton Hospital, and Park City Hospital
  • Working 3 day per week in clinic and 2 days per week in the OR; to include first-assisting in surgical cases, inpatient rounding, clinic new-patient and follow-up appointments, etc.
  • Practice call to be shared with supervising physician; no trauma call requirement

What youll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
