Role: Executive Project Director – Heavy CivilSalary: $300-400k basic + sign on + Excellent BenefitsLocation: San Francisco CAThe BusinessHamilton Mayer International is keen to make contact with experienced executives with a track record delivering high profile infrastructure projects in the US, specifically with expertise in heavy highway, bridges and rail.The Executive Project Director will be working out of the San Francisco office as part of a national network of offices across the US for a multi-billion dollar general contractor. This appointment will be tasked overseeing a large design-build infrastructure projects delivering to schedule and profitability. Furthermore, the business seek expert knowledge in the assistance of bidding for future design-build pursuits within infrastructure as a number of tender opportunities are currently in the process of being released out to the industry.The Role Manage professional staff responsible for delivering large scale infrastructure design-build projects.Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.Review project estimate or plan to determine schedule, estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.Oversee coordination with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Review status and modify schedules or plans as required and prepares project reports for management, owners, and subcontractors.Provide positive safety leadership to projects.Coordinate resource use with project superintendent; for example, craft assignment, crew sizes and project layout for offices, traffic flow, and material storage etc.Responsible for claims management and documentation.Coordinate material purchases, assure that subcontractor agreements are prepared and change orders are accurate and issued to owners, subcontractors and suppliers.Approve subcontractor billing, generate pay estimates.Conduct performance reviews with subordinates.Manage subcontractor, owner and public relations.Participate in project presentations to elected officials, general public and other stake holders.Responsible for project closeout.Key experience Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 20-years heavy civil/heavy highway/rail construction management experience.Heavy civil construction, estimating, design, finance, and management experience preferred which may include a background working as a consultant and contractor.Rail & Heavy civil/bridges experience is highly preferred.A true leader in the industry.Exemplary track record of success delivering tough projects to completion.LocationSan Francisco, CASalary $300,000 - $400,000 - Excellent Benefits PositionFull TimeReference CodeHMI - 89383
