Description

The Director of Marketing is responsible for ensuring that ABEC's capabilities and unique value propositions are widely recognized throughout the global biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. She/he develops and implements marketing strategies, manages ABEC's marketing channels, measures marketing performance, and collaborates closely with technical resources to produce compelling content. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, dynamic leader with the vision and ability to significantly advance the marketing function at ABEC.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and manage marketing activities based on company/product initiatives and strategies.

• Evaluate, develop, and mentor team personnel. Identify and fill resource needs.

• Develop and manage marketing budgets.

• Optimize digital marketing efforts for maximum return, including website SEO, social media activity, and paid advertising channels.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to create and publish product marketing content and collateral such as brochures, case studies, product briefs, and videos.

• Manage external suppliers providing marketing services such as graphic design, multi-media content, and advertising.

• Evaluate, plan, and execute conference and trade show participation.

• Manage ABEC's corporate image including document style guidelines and ABEC facilities look.

• Actively identify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years' experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the manufacturing or process industries.

• Biopharmaceutical and/or high technology industry experience preferred.

• Prior experience with direct personnel management and leadership of teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to effectively drive activity in a matrixed organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Ability to travel globally.

• Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus.

• Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
