Your daily life
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for servicing existing clients and developing new business and increasing company revenue for Pavemetrics Systems within a specific geography or territory. The territory is United States of America.
The incumbent must research, target, and identify emerging prospects to create business opportunities and develop new relationships and partnerships to close new business.
In this role you will:
- Develop territory plans prioritizing leads and opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and solutions
- Maintain and develop both existing and new customers, optimizing the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Support and assist the Sr. Director of Global Sales to analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to monitor performance and plan action items for improvements.
- Submitting weekly activity reports.
- Manage and coach channel partners including driving quarterly Mutual Action Plans.
- Provide market intelligence input to Pavemetrics Product Line Managers to optimize development and to forecast accurately.
- Research markets and new prospects.
- Prepare, plan, and develop meetings and presentations.
- Connect with customers virtually, by phone, or online meeting platforms.
- Update the CRM with prospect's information, sales contacts and sales activities such as meetings, prices quote, and next steps, such that the forecast accurately reflets the Regional Sales Managers opportunity funnel always.
- Attend internal sales meetings, annual sales meetings and sales development training.
- Travel to and from customer locations (driving or flying where required). Travel expectations of approximately 50%-70%, but mostly based on needs.
- Administrative tasks such as booking travel and completing expenses.
- 8 years of B2B sales experience.
- NDT/NDE, Vision/Optics systems experience preferred.
- Diploma in a technical or business-related subject.
- Experience required in at least one of the following vertical market sectors:
- Rail industry (Inspection, Maintenance, Rolling stock, or other).
- Other transportation infrastructure (Roads, Tunnels, Airfields).
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Autonomous, self-driven and passionate.
- Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Advanced creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business sense, team-player and results oriented.
- Must speak English fluently.
