The Opportunity:

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Assembly Technician I on the first shift. The core hours for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Serving under Production leadership, the Assembly Technician I provides hands-on technical expertise to properly assemble and manufacture linear lighting applications. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to comply with basic safety practices and procedures.
Challenge Yourself - The Specifics:
- Assists with implementing projects of customized LED components/and or systems
- Performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks
- Follows established procedures and guidelines to check, test and inspect finished goods before they are shipped from the distribution center to the customer
- Conducts tests on electrical function, reliability and packaging quality and record results
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience and training are typically required
- Minimum of one (1) year working in a manufacturing/distribution environment, quality assurance, assembly, testing or experience working in an environment using hands tools and equipment
- Ability to safely and effectively use and operate hand tools such as soldering iron, heat gun, power tools and other equipment required for work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to detect and correct quality problems of LED lighting products
- Must have excellent attention to detail, be driven, work well independently and a knack for problem-solving
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, kneel and reach to perform work for extended periods of time
