Role
The Commercial Roofing Manager will drive specifications and sales for Kingspan Insulation's portfolio of high-performance insulation solutions in commercial roofing systems. Our insulation technologies include Expanded Polystyrene (EPS); Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) and Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) that deliver thermal performance solutions under single-ply membranes and in inverted/protected roof membrane assembly (IRMA/PRMA) roofing designs. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this essential team member will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key decision makers in the building enclosure design community, along with roofing system membrane manufacturers, commercial roofing distributors and contractors. The successful candidate will excel in building targeted relationships founded on trust, identifying value-based solutions, creating a pipeline specifications and sales, effectively closing on profitable opportunities and proving insights to inform growth strategies. Key strategic deliverables include fostering cross-functional relationships across the organization, leading by influence to enrol internal & external resources, and developing an executable territory plan.

Salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus opportunities.

Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus at least 5-7 years of outside business-to-business (B2B) technical specifications and sales experience with commercial building enclosure insulation products and systems; OR high school diploma or GED plus 6-8 years of relevant industry experience in business-to-business (B2B) specifications and sales with commercial building enclosure insulation products.

Travel: Travel will vary, but will be approximately 50% between meeting with customers, attending industry events, visiting plants, and attending intercompany meetings.
Language Skills: Capable of reading and interpreting documents, including operating instructions and procedure manuals. Proficient in writing complex reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to forecast accurately.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in non-standardized situations.
Certificate/License: Valid driver's license with record clean enough to be acceptable to our insurance carrier.

- Develop effective specification and sales strategies for expanding adoption of Kingspan's portfolio of high-performance insulation solutions in commercial roofing systems.
- Create and execute a Territory Plan for achieving business strategies and goals.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, design-build GCs, building owners; roofing system membrane manufactures, commercial roofing distributors and contractors to understand needs and deliver solutions for success.
- Build a pipeline of specification and sales opportunities to create a sales forecast and achieve business growth goals.
- Serve as a trusted professional for providing technical support, customer service and product training.
- Provide exceptional support for customers by following up on opportunities and resolving issues in a timely manner, and in accordance with company policies.
- Represent company at trade association meetings and industry events to establish appropriate market presence for promoting Kingspan product solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales colleagues, Technical, Marketing, and other key resource capabilities across business for success.
- Perform all work in a safe manner, while also promoting and fostering a safe work environment.
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Product Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
