What will your typical day look like?
As a Development Manager in the Technology Data Office Team, you will guide the design and development of Deloitte Canada's data-centric solutions, enabling data integration and data science initiatives within our landscape. These include a Data Lake, a Reference Data solution, a Master Data solution and a Data Catalog solution. You will provide leadership and guidance to resources as project planning occurs and product releases are delivered. Working with the delivery team you will enforce standards, best practices and methodologies and enable maturity of system engineering, quality assurance and analysis. You will engage with stakeholders as needs emerge and assess how to deliver on those requirements. You will interact with Infrastructure, Portfolio, Business and IT leadership representatives. You will help maintain the health and availability of Production environments. You have strong interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to solve technical issues.
About the team
Our Team builds and maintains Enterprise Data Integration solutions required for the firm (Data Lake, MDM solution, RDM solution Data Catalog solution). Our onshore team is located within Toronto coupled with additional team-members within Hyderabad, India. We are part of the larger Solutions Delivery group within Deloitte Technology.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. You are someone with:
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile project development methodology, including the use of CI/CD and Azure DevOps
- 5+ years' experience in ETL application development and design
- Experience working with Azure Data Stack (Azure Data lake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Spark, etc.) is a must-have
- Working on Cloud-based data implementations and familiarity with Informatica IDMC Data Catalog is an asset.
- Experience leading development team members to achieve project deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders and lead others in teams
- Superior verbal and written communications skills including oral presentation and building business case
- Successful delivery utilizing offshore capabilities considered an asset
