Midnight Oil (moagency.com), part of The Imagine Group, is strategically located in "the heart of Hollywood" in Burbank, CA, and is a creative, and specialty print production partner to the majority of theatrical and streaming studios, with relationships often measured in terms of decades, not years. We uniquely and conveniently combine our Studio and Print Production capabilities all under one roof in our 120,000 square feet facility, with an Amtrak stop and the Burbank Airport directly across the street. Position Summary:
The Account Manager, Production oversees all campaigns and projects for assigned clients from a production point of view. This role is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of client service and seamless execution of production projects, along with collective accountability for scope, schedule, quality and budget. The Account Manager, Production works with fellow Account Managers, Project Managers and other support staff to ensure campaigns/projects meet or exceed client goals from a quality and delivery perspective. This role works with and reports to the VP, Sales & Account Management.
Location: This position will be based out of our Burbank, CA office.

The national pay range for this role is $90,000- $105,000.00/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and be accountable for all campaign and project work, focused on Production, for assigned clients with a lens on external-facing client service.
- Partner with Account Director (relationship owner) of assigned account to understand client goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Own the day-to-day workflow of campaigns and projects to keep Account Directors focused on sales. Account Directors secure the opportunity, the Account Manager, Production sets the project up for success and ensures triple-A delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and set clear expectations with Project Managers and other account team members to consistently provide above-and-beyond levels of client service.
- Direct production work through the support team to ensure success.
- Be present, on-site, to drive project workflow through appropriate department.
- Work fluently within Adobe Workfront/iQuote/Monarch to create campaigns/projects, develop estimates, manage client facing schedules and bill.
- Work with assigned Account Director to plan the bi-weekly forecast to understand client demand to the fullest and assign appropriate resources to accomplish the work.
- Stay in lockstep with the assigned Account Director to understand macro client strategic business goals and changes.
- Establish a strong relationship with assigned clients. Build trust over time.
- Understand all account strategies for the assigned client, including account operating budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure proper support teams are in place and driving toward business goals.
- Prioritize billing/profitability for assigned account, with a clear understanding of all monthly, quarterly, and annual billing.
- Work with finance to deliver all client-specific data for reporting.
- Liaise with other peer-level Account Managers for continuous improvement and to ensure day-to-day processes align with client goals and stay consistent.
- Lend help to other clients in times of light work on dedicated client by focusing on standard work.
- Work alongside VP, Sales & Acct Management as part of the strategic team to grow and improve client service and relationships.
- Provide relevant updates to heads of Creative and Operations regarding account needs, team/support needs and budgeting.
- Track daily activity within Workfront by hours.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years professional experience in a project management discipline in a supervisory role preferably.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud and job tracking systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of Campaign Production.
- Self-Starter with strong follow-through; Proactive approach to identify and solve problems before they arise.
- Ultimate client satisfaction mentality and approach.
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate to get results.
- Think strategically and possess outstanding analytic skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Creative, Media, Marketing Agency and/or Entertainment industry experience helpful.
- Project Management Professional training preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
