Position Overview

The Learning Management System (LMS) Senior Specialist is responsible for the implementation, configuration, integration and ongoing administration of the firm's learning management system (Docebo) and its integration with the firm's Talent Management platform (Workday). This role will ensure the LMS operates seamlessly to deliver learning programs and enable tracking of learning activities across the global firm. The ideal candidate has experience with both Docebo and Workday and can optimize the systems and integrations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

This role will optimize the learning technology ecosystem and leverage strong technical, analytical, and client service skills to deliver an exceptional learner experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Docebo Administration:
    • Serve as the lead system administrator for the Docebo LMS and its integration with Workday.
    • Administer and maintain the Docebo Learning Management System, including user management, course management, and system configuration.
    • Implement and configure Docebo LMS in alignment with learning program requirements and specifications.
    • Provision and maintain user accounts, roles, permissions, and organizational structures in Docebo.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the LMS, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest features and updates in Docebo and recommend enhancements to improve the user experience and efficiency.
  • Integration Management:
    • Build and maintain integrations between Docebo and Workday for seamless data exchange (user profiles, course assignments, completion tracking etc.).
    • Monitor data synchronization between Docebo and Workday, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
    • Import/upload learning content (SCORM, videos, etc.), and assist with the integration of third-party tools (authoring tools, video platforms etc.) with LMS
    • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to configure and maintain the integration, troubleshooting any integration issues that arise.
    • Oversee the import, export, and management of learning content, ensuring it is properly cataloged and accessible within Docebo.
    • Coordinate with L&D Business Partners, Instructional Designers, and eLearning Specialists, and external vendors to manage the deployment of new learning materials and courses.
  • Training and Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Learning and Development, and IT teams, to understand their learning and development needs and configure the LMS accordingly.
    • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide updates on LMS-related initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive training documentation, user guides, and workflows.
    • Develop and deliver LMS administrator and power user training sessions.
    • Provide tier 3 technical support to learners and instructors, troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Generate reports and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize learning content and strategies.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to learning and development.
    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data stored in the LMS.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements and system upgrades/enhancements.
  • Ongoing Maintenance:
    • Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity and system performance.
    • Conduct routine backups and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and disaster recovery readiness.
    • Monitor system usage and performance metrics, addressing any issues proactively.
    • Coordinate with IT for hardware and software upgrades related to Docebo infrastructure.
    • Manage system updates and patches, testing new versions before deployment to production.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a small team of LMS support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team progress, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
Key Requirements:
  • 4+ years experience as an LMS administrator, preferably with Docebo LMS and preferably in a global professional services organization
  • Experience administering and integrating Workday Talent Management
  • Strong technical skills in LMS configuration, API integrations, and learning standards (SCORM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, and user provisioning processes
  • Expertise in data management, reporting, and learning analytics
  • Ability to develop training documentation for the usage of Docebo and provide LMS support
  • Problem-solving skills to triage and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Project management ability to implement new LMS integrations/upgrades
  • Knowledge of instructional design and eLearning authoring tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Benefits Summary:

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Compensation Statement:

The salary range is $85,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
