You Are:

The Information Systems Security Officer. We are looking for a skilled information systems security officer to join our Continuous Monitoring team as the Information Security System Officer for the AFS Enterprise System of Systems. This role focuses on maintaining the enterprise System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) reporting. This role ensures that the organization's information systems comply with all relevant regulations and standards and manages client and vendor attestations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cybersecurity, NIST 800-171 requirements, and a keen eye for detail.

The Work:
  • Maintain the security control implementation statements within the SSP, working with System Owners and Control Owners to understand and confirm the technical and security details of security and compliance controls across the Enterprise as well as specific Applications and Systems within the Enterprise Boundary.
  • Manage and update the POA&M to track remediation efforts for identified security issues.
  • Mange the accurate Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as NIST 800-171 and ISO 27001
  • Manage client and vendor attestations
  • Participate in the Major and Minor system change processes to update the AFS Enterprise compliance documentation with changes and additions
  • Assist in developing and refining incident response strategies and procedures.

Here's What You Need:
  • US Citizenship required
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Experience presenting complex technical information to decision makers and leading them through the decision-making process
  • Work independently to deliver timely solutions without direct supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in information security with a focus on enterprise security management, or other equivalent combination of education or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with developing or maintaining SSP and POA&Ms.
  • Requires technical understanding to collaborate with operations teams and management to collaborate on Compliance package updates, ensure documentation is complete and accurate, and use this documentation to answer questionnaires, surveys, and audit questions for the AFS Enterprise.

Bonus Points if you have:
  • CISSP, GSEC, CISM, CASP+
  • Experience as an ISSO for a System of Systems


As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$103,200-$213,600 USD
