This role requires you to be onsite three days a week at either our Irving, TX, Blue Bell, PA or Boca Raton, FL locations. The other two days are remote, offering the flexibility you need while still engaging in meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate for the role of Senior Manager, Software Engineering to motivate, empower, and drive innovation within the team. This role is pivotal in driving the efficiency and reliability of ADTs products through high-quality, innovative software solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $142,400 - $213,600 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.

- Strategic Leadership: Engage in and improve the whole life cycle of services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and technical vision.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and architectures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends.
- Security and Compliance: Promote a culture of secure software development.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Team Management: Recruit, build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Skills: Strong technical expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, with experience in low-level or functional languages a plus. Candidate must have extensive experience building cloud-native services, preferably GCP.
