Sr Consultant

Cherokee Nation Solutions Link (CNSL) is seeking a talented Senior Consultant, Business Strategy and Transformation to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This is a client-facing role where you will have the opportunity to deliver on high-profile workstreams, manage client engagements, and oversee the creation of work products from inception to completion. You will be working with a federal agency undergoing enterprise-wide change, offering a unique chance to engage with senior executives and influence significant transformation initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr Consultant: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Sr Consultant Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the establishment and management of a Governance PMO (GPMO) to support executive-level decision-making and governance activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks that enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency within the GPMO.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve business processes in a complex operational environment.


  • Attending meetings with stakeholders to capture/update stories and brief on platform development status and designs.


  • Providing best practices and recommendations on process, design, and all things operations.


  • Developing and writing User Manuals, SOP's and Process Maps.


  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Sr Consultant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, operations, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of consulting experience, preferably in a federal setting.
  • Prior experience in a PMO or project management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record in business process improvement, governance work, policy analysis, and change management.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, trends, and information to derive insights and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing business plans that align with organizational objectives.


  • Must be US Citizen.


  • Must be able to pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) and/or obtain a Public Trust clearance.


  • Must be able to pass a US government federal background investigation and a drug test.


  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
